The beaches of Abu Dhabi
With year-round sunshine, it’s no surprise that the beaches of Abu Dhabi are a delightful experience for every traveller, with 350km of coastline to choose from. Stretching along the Corniche Road, Corniche Beach is a pristine beachfront that has been awarded the coveted Blue Flag status – guaranteeing clean and safe bathing water. And for those wanting a bite to eat after a long day in the sun, there’s plenty of Cafés and restaurants to choose from.
Nine kilometres of picture perfect, serene shores, Saadiyat Beach is one of Abu Dhabi’s favourite public beaches. Environmentally protected, as the sands are the welcome nesting place for the endangered Hawksbill sea turtles.
Set on the coastline of one of Abu Dhabi’s most popular entertainment districts, Yas Beach is a majestic stretch of white sand lapped by beautiful turquoise water, finished off with a laid-back vibe. Visitors wanting more excitement can take part in a number of activities, including Kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding and sailing.
Home to the Al Gharbia Watersports Festival and the western region’s only developed beach, Mirfa Beach is one of Abu Dhabi’s best kept secrets. There's the option to camp amongst the beautiful surroundings and a 'Sunset Souk’ that will surpass expectations.

Yas Island is one of the county’s best loved tourist attractions, with something for everyone. Just off the coast of Abu Dhabi, this spectacular island is home to Ferrari World Abu Dhabi – the world’s first Ferrari theme park and the largest attraction of its kind.
Most well-known for being home of the annual F1TM Eithad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. This takes places at the Marina Circuit; it has fast established its self as one of the favoured tracks of the entire season.
Shopping is something of a national past-time in Abu Dhabi, especially as it’s tax-free and so diverse. The malls here are ultra-modern, luxurious, hosting the latest brands and offering a welcome escape from the summer heat. The souks – Arabic for marketplace – will give you a real flavour of Arabian lifestyle. Bursting with colour, it’s the perfect place to savour the authentic local atmosphere.
Yas Mall is Abu Dhabi’s biggest shopping centre and the second largest in the UAE. The mall features the largest Debenhams outside the UK, the first Lego concept store and more than 60 restaurants and cafés.
With its 100 metre high viewing platform, ice rink, bowling alley, Cineplex, musical fountains and hundreds of well-known brands, the Marina Mall is a real Abu Dhabi landmark.
Abu Dhabi Mall
The Abu Dhabi Mall has over 200 shops including big name stores such as H&M, Zara and Caroline Herrera to name a few. With a staggering 40,000 visitors every day the Abu Dhabi Mall is more than a shopping centre, especially with its restaurants, cafés, children’s play area and Cineplex, there’s something for everyone.
Al Ain Souk
Also known as the ‘Old Souk’, Al Ain Souk is the perfect place to explore and absorb the Arabian atmosphere. Housing an eclectic combination of goods, it’s the perfect place to practise your bargaining skills. Al Ain Souk is definitely worth a visit to pick up the perfect souvenir.
